Ice Climbing

Climb frozen waterfalls, often with roadside access or ascend a classic ‘goulotte’ or gully in the big mountains. More ice than you could ever dream of in Scotland.

Valley bases – take your pick.

La Grave- an area near Grenoble in France. Many different venues are available with ice from Scottish grade 2 to as steep as you like. This could be combined with skiing to give your tired arms a rest.
